This recipe can be made as a juice or smoothie. Smoothie measurements are listed first (& are smaller) then the juice because the fiber is retained when ingredients are blended and it quickly expands. Juice requires almost double the amount of fruit and vegetables making it more nutrient dense then the smoothie of the same amount because most of the fiber is removed during the juicing process.
Tip: Try chopping and freezing apples and pears. Frozen fruit ad great texture to smoothies! Try peeling and freezing bananas for another creamy experience.
