Hart’s expands home delivery radius

New coverage area extends three miles around the East End store

 
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Hart’s Local Grocers announces that it has expanded its delivery radius to reach more neighborhoods in and around downtown Rochester. With a new 3-mile radius, Hart’s now delivers to a total of 29 zip codes.

Neighborhoods served by the new coverage area include: Browncroft, North Winton Village/Culver-Winton, Mt. Hope/Highland, Cobbs Hill, Northland-Lyceum, Ellwanger-Barry, and the 19th Ward.

“Our in-store pickup and home delivery services have been enormously successful since they launched this winter,” said Colleen Griffin-Underhill, Hart’s General Manager. “We listened to customer feedback and we’re happy to be able to expand home delivery to more parts of Rochester.”

Orders can be placed using smartphones, tablets, or desktop computers. Details and direct links for sign-up and ordering online are at hartslocalgrocers.com. Hart’s online shoppers will have access to most of Hart’s 10,000 grocery items, including produce, baked goods, freshly butchered meats, artisanal cheeses, craft beers, and a selection of cold prepared foods.

Home Delivery
Home delivery is offered seven days a week. Deliveries take place between 5 to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 4 to 6 p.m. on weekends. Same-day delivery is offered if groceries are ordered online within four hours before the delivery time. The fee for delivery is $3.99 for up to one mile, and $4.99 for up to 3 miles, with a minimum order of $30.

In-Store Pickup
In-store pickup is offered seven days a week, with pickup times from 5 to 7 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 4 to 6 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on weekends. Pickups can be made the same day if groceries are ordered online four hours before the pickup time. The fee for in-store pickup is $1.99, with a minimum order of $30.
