Though Pittsford Dairy is perhaps best known for its glass bottle milks, it has also developed quite a following with its line of homemade premium ice creams. “We scooped up 10,000 cones just last week,” owner Charles Corby beams. “We don’t cut corners, either. We crush all of the Oreos by hand for several of our flavors. We go through nearly 700 pounds of Oreos each week!”
Hart’s Local Grocers will receive the 2014 Bicycle Transportation Community Recognition Award on Monday, May 11 at 11 a.m. The Bicycle Transportation Community Recognition Award is given annually to any for-profit or not-for-profit business or organization that contributes to promoting bicycling for transportation or bicycle safety.
